Guanabana combines trendy and colorful exclusive designs with traditional handicraft to create very special accessories. Their baskets are handmade by artisans using the technique of weaving with iraca, typical of the Colombian tradition. The iraca, or toquilla straw, is a natural fiber that comes from the Carludovica palmata plant. From the leaves of this plant, the artisans obtain fine strips that are then dyed and woven by hand to create the baskets.
